Conditions
during early stages of citrus tree establishment are crucial
to producing high-yield producing groves. Of all the
advances made in grove management in recent times the one
area of greatest potential improvement is young tree establishment
in both reset and block planting operations. I think
that you will agree the use of a "cocktail" of
endomycorrhizal fungi, humic acids, amino acids, sea kelp
extracts, yucca plant extracts, beneficial bacteria, vitamins,
Trichoderma
fungi,
and Horta-Sorb® water
management gel will result in better conditions to get the
citrus tree off to a better start.
These
products represent the latest in technology for you to manage
the establishment of citrus trees during the establishment
period and beyond. The product promotes overall plant
health and soil health, which in turn provides faster growth
and payback.

Note: It is important to note here that the Horta-Sorb®
during its initial contact with water will absorb all of
the solubles that are in solution and manage these
solubles over a long period. Thus, if you have a soluble
item that you presently use that you would like to stay
in the root zone for an extended period of time Horta-Sorb®
can help.
DIEHARD
AG Transplant is
a dry product that is used as a planting amendment when
planting citrus trees. The "cocktail" contains
all of the ingredients mentioned above and Horta-Sorb®.
This product which contains a generous amount of
Horta-Sorb® is especially useful for resets to reduce watering
frequency and maintenance in sporadic plantings and conditions
associated with resets.

AG Mud-In
Plus
is added to water tanks used
to mud in citrus trees when planting. It is used to
inoculate the roots of young citrus trees with 7 strains
of beneficial endomycorrhizae, provide a complete biostimulant
package to feed the microbes in the soil, add beneficial
bacteria to the soil to "energize" the ground
and provide the transplant with as complete a biological
package. The product includes a generous amount of
Horta-Sorb® Water
Management Gel to not only manage water in the planting
area but also to absorb and manage all of the soluble
components of this unique mycorrhizal inoculant "cocktail".

AG Mud-In
DIEHARD
AG Mud-In PLUS less the Horta-Sorb®
Water Management Gel. It is designed to inoculant
trees and provides all of the biological of DIEHARD AG Mud-In
Plus, but without the Horta-Sorb® Water Management Gel.

DIEHARD
Root Dip
is added to water to form a gel.
It contains endomycorrhizal fungi (7 strains), biostimulants,
beneficial bacteria, fungi,
vitamins, amino acids, sea kelp extract,
humic acids, yucca extracts
and a fine particle size of Horta-Sorb® to stick form a
gel and stick the ingredients to the roots.
It is used when plants are shifted from propagation flats,
or beds, to containers or when set into the field at the
nursery or grove. Alternatively, it can be used when plants
are shipped to groves for planting, but ideally it is applied
early on in the nursery so that plant roots are mycorrhizal
when they leave the nursery.

Starter Mix is a dry product
used as a soil amendment in container mixes to inoculant
the roots of citrus seedlings with endomycorrhizal fungi.
The product contains
endomycorrhizal fungi (7 strains), biostimulants, beneficial
bacteria, fungi, vitamins,
amino acids, sea kelp extract, humic acids, and yucca extracts.

Nursery Drench
is dry product containing soluble ingredients for use at
the nursery to drench containers, and beds, to inoculate
citrus plant roots with endomycorrhizal fungi. The
product contains a complete biostimulant package, beneficial
bacteria package, yucca plant extracts and soluble sea kelp.

BioRush
and
DIEHARD
BioRush
Fe are unique biostimulants
containing soluble humic acids, yucca extracts, sea kelp
extracts, beneficial bacteria, Trichoderma fungi,
amino acids, and vitamins to feed the microbial organisms
in the ground.
Humates
physically modify the soil changing the fixation properties
of the soil. They increase water holding capacity,
aeration of soil, and helps plants resist drought conditions.
They retain soluble inorganic fertilizers in the root zones
and release them to plant roots. They increase buffering
properties of soil possess extremely high ion-exchange capacities
and chelates metal ions under alkaline conditions.
All in all, they simply work both physically, chemically,
and biologically for soils and plants.
The
biggest evidence we can offer to you about biostimulants
is that in today's market it is estimated that over 90%
of their use is by golf course superintendents. Golf
course superintendents as a group are by far the most forward-thinking
horticulturists
that we deal with. This is so because I have yet to
meet one that owns the course. Anyway, they use biostimulants
big time for a reason. They work... If you haven't
used them it's time you take a fresh look at them.
You would be surprised at how many citrus groves have humic
acid applied regularly to increase yields.
