Tips and Issues With DIEHARD™

It is our goal to build a long term mutually beneficial relationships with our customer base and beyond.  This is achieved thru our continually progressing products, our ever improving web site and listening to ideas and suggestions from our customers and distribution network.

The following are some general usage tips, which may be helpful to you.  Should you have a tip you feel will help others, please let us know, we will be happy to recognize you as a value added part of our Alliance.

Arborist:  Our injectable products are formulated to be mixed at the rate of one 8oz bag per 100 gallons of water.  This can be added to most fertilizer mixtures to simplify application and keep cost of application to a minimum.

Citrus Growers: We can provide you with cost saving measures that ultimately bring each planting to production faster.  You can also cut down on application frequency of fungicide’s etc.,  by adding our Horta-Sorb® gels.

Greenhouse:  Our biostimulants and unique drench products offer growers multiple choices for the introduction of beneficial microbes and disease suppression.

Golf Course:  We are partnered with companies that have completed extensive trials with our products.  We will gladly put you in contact with these people so you too can get the results you are looking for.

Forestry:  Our Alliance within the forestry industry is where the roots of our company were seeded.  Gels, drenches and dips are some of the options we have to help you and your production.  Remember that when you purchase a drench or root dip that the amount of inoculum per package has been carefully calculated to treat a certain amount of seedlings.  For example if you use our DIEHARD™ Ecto Root Dip each ounce of this product is formulated to treat 675 seedlings.  If you are dipping seedlings and you notice that the mixture has thickened simply add water to the gel to loosen the gel again.  In some instances you may have to add plain gel to thicken the mixture to keep the dip the consistency of light gravy.

Landscape:  Our landscape line of products is formulated to cover just about any problem, from low organic matter to reductions in watering frequencies and drought problems.  Nursery plants are not natural.  They have been pushed and manipulated in every manner known to man to produce them as cheaply and as fast as possible.  Consequently many of the natural systems, like immune systems, that plants have evolved with simply do not develop in the nursery.  These "systems" are necessary but generally the plant has to wait until Mother Nature brings the rest of the pieces to complete the plant.  We general refer to condition of the plant during this waiting period as the plant going through "transplant shock".

Landscape Architects:  Our support of both local and national ASLA is unmatched in our industry.  We have an ever-increasing list of Landscape Architect that specify our products by name.   We have a dedicated portion of our website just for you.  We will be happy to give you any references you request.

Municipal:  With ever decreasing budgets, this is truly a tough market.  Our multi-ingredient products offer the depth of initial results combined with long lasting effect.

This all has to be done in a “budget conscious” environment, and in the public eye at all times.

Nursery Growers:  Grow them as fast as you can and as push them out.  This is often the cloud over the nursery man’s head. Our products ensure that during this push, plant material is not only growing but growing “complete”.

Reclamation:  Growing anything on a reclaimed site is tough.  Our combination of organics, mycorrhizae and biostimulants enable the often impossible to happen.

Sports Fields:  Game day, the joy of seeing your manicured field before the game, and the agony of seeing it ripped to shreds after the game.  Thru our research we are able to turn around battered turf into your next highlight.

Turf:  Establishment, color, tolerances, these are all concerns.  With a variety of  products we can offer your turf the care that it is in need of.

Xmas Tree Growers:  Our drench products are custom blended to fit your exact needs.  We are able to provide a product that is an exact fit to your needs, providing a healthy tree that will soon be surrounded by gifts.
